Exploring the hood

For those who visit regularly, first of all – thank you! Second, you’ll know that as a first-year PhD student, I don’t have much time to go out exploring (and unfortunately, to write regular blog posts!). However, I had an opportunity a couple of weeks ago to get out for a couple of hours on a cool but sunny Friday afternoon. I had explored a bit of the Rideau River near me when I first got to Ottawa, and I checked out more of this area on my more recent walk. Here are some photos from both of those ventures.
