The air up there

Last week’s post featured photos of clouds, but these were all taken from the ground. Have you ever checked out the clouds from the window of an airplane? They fascinate me! They look so light and fluffy, I want to jump into them! However, that would not end well for me. Still, it’s fun to look and imagine. Despite the warped look of (and often, dirt on) airplane windows, it’s possible to get some decent shots from the air.

Sometimes in photography, something unexpected happens that makes a shot magical. It doesn’t happen often and we probably couldn’t replicate it if we tried; we just enjoy the moment! The sun streaming out of the clouds in the next few shots was one of those moments.

And then, as if that wasn’t enough, I realized that the clouds were reflecting on the wing of the plane – I nearly lost my mind!
